Operations & Commerce

Retail

Floor, stock, and loyalty for stores that also sell online and cannot afford two catalogs.

Operations & Commerce

The vertical

Stores, boutiques, and multi-location retailers whose till, warehouse, and website still close into three files.

Retail software is a counter that still works when the line drops, and a stock file the site can trust. XiteHub designs POS so a sale writes the same SKU the warehouse already uses. Variants, modifiers, and taxes are configured for how you actually ring. Multi-store groups inherit one catalog with location exceptions you approve. Day-end is a pack, not a USB stick. Loyalty and returns attach to the customer when you run them, not as a third app. If you already have Shopify or a custom shop, the till sits beside it instead of fighting it.

The gap

What is usually broken

The till does not know what the site reserved. Head office sees yesterday. A return at the counter cannot find the online order. Loyalty is a stamp card the cashier forgets.

Approach

How we enter

XiteHub treats the item as the product, not the channel. The till, the warehouse, and the storefront share a catalog. Offline sales queue and sync. We have shipped retail and commerce work including Kalopsia (Shopify plus a mobile app) and storefronts such as Travel Collection. The floor gets a register first. Head office gets one on-hand. The website reads reserved qty, not a hopeful export.

Challenges

What we keep hearing

  1. 01

The website sells a size the floor already sold

  2. 02

Each store closes the till into email

  3. 03

Returns need the original receipt and a manager who is off today

  4. 04

A new store copies a till setup by hand

  5. 05

Hospitality modifiers or retail sizes live in a side list

  6. 06

Head office cannot see today's on-hand without calling the manager

What we build

Work that belongs in this sector

  1. 01

A shared item master across stores and the website

  2. 02

Checkout with offline queue, receipts, voids, and a reason

  3. 03

Shift open and close, and a day-end pack finance can book

  4. 04

Stock deduction on the same SKUs inventory already holds

  5. 05

Returns and loyalty on the customer when you run those programs

  6. 06

A path into Shopify, WordPress, or a custom storefront for available qty

Entry

How we start here

Floor first, then the systems that stay, then a slice operators will use. We do not lead with a generic industry pack.

  1. 01

    Counter walk-through

Stand at the till. Time a sale, a return, and a power cut. That becomes the spec.

  2. 02

    Catalog and taxes

Clean the item file before the first device is provisioned.

  3. 03

    Pilot store

One location runs live. We fix speed and edge tenders before the next store.

  4. 04

    Channels

Connect the website or warehouse so reserved stock is real.

  5. 05

    Rollout

Clone the catalog, train a floor champion, and cut stores in a sequence ops can staff.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, hosting, and what we will not claim on this Retail brief.

The till keeps taking sales into a local queue. When the line returns, those tickets sync and stock updates. Card-offline rules follow what your acquirer allows.
