Manufacturing

Shop floor, inventory, and quality records that connect the line to the office.

Operations & Commerce

The vertical

Plants and job shops whose work orders, material issues, and quality checks still do not post to the same items finance sees.

Manufacturing software is useful when a pick, a run, and a fail land on the same job. XiteHub designs work orders that consume the items the warehouse already holds. Completions post quantity and, if you run it, labor or overhead. Quality holds or scrap with a reason. Lot or serial numbers stay on the job so a customer complaint is a query, not a hunt. Purchasing sees what the line already reserved. We will sit beside an aging ERP or a machine network you are not ready to replace, then take more of the book when a period close is safe.

The gap

What is usually broken

Planning is a whiteboard. The store issues material on a slip. Quality writes a fail in a register. Finance values stock from last month's count. A customer asks for a lot trail and someone walks the floor.

Approach

How we enter

XiteHub starts with the item and the work order: what you make, what it consumes, and where it sits. We do not hang a dozen sensors on a line whose SKU file is still full of duplicates. ERP and inventory modules come first when the books and the store disagree. Machine data and quality checks attach when the floor will actually scan or key them. We have shipped operations platforms that later absorbed stock and finance into one place. The plant gets the same treatment: one item master, then the line.

Challenges

What we keep hearing

  1. 01

Work orders live in a planner's book that the store cannot see

  2. 02

Material issues never hit the same SKU finance values

  3. 03

A quality fail has no lot, so the recall is a guess

  4. 04

Machines run, but downtime is a verbal report at stand-up

  5. 05

Two plants use different item codes for the same part

  6. 06

Month-end is a count because the system never matched the floor

What we build

Work that belongs in this sector

  1. 01

Item masters and BOMs the store and the line both recognize

  2. 02

Work orders that reserve and consume those items

  3. 03

Completions and scrap that update on-hand the same day

  4. 04

Quality checks and holds on the job, with a reason and a signer

  5. 05

Lot or serial trace when your customers already ask for it

  6. 06

A path into finance so issues and completions become journals, not exports

Entry

How we start here

Floor first, then the systems that stay, then a slice operators will use. We do not lead with a generic industry pack.

  1. 01

    Item and BOM cleanup

Agree codes, units, and recipes before a single job is imported. This step saves the project.

  2. 02

    Store and jobs

Ship on-hand, issues, and work orders first so planning and the warehouse leave the sheet.

  3. 03

    Opening count

A controlled count becomes opening balance. We do not invent qty from an old export.

  4. 04

    Quality

Add checks and holds once the job file is trusted. Do not start with a full QMS on day one.

  5. 05

    Machines later

Connect PLCs or sensors only when the floor will use the signal. A dark dashboard helps no one.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Scope, hosting, and what we will not claim on this Manufacturing brief.

Not in the first release. We ship jobs, stock, and quality that the office already needs. Machine telemetry is a later slice when the item file is clean.
